Fair 101 - How to Enter

Welcome to the Fair entry process. We encourage all Kittitas County residents to take the opportunity to display their talents and skills with Agricultural, Home Arts and Fine Arts projects created in the last two years. Bring your exhibits to be displayed at the Fair, and have the possibility of winning ribbons and premium dollars.

SCHEDULE FOR SUBMITTING ENTRIES

Online Submission: August 1-16

  • Livestock and Still Life exhibits can be entered online through ShoWorks.
  • Please note all Livestock entries are required to be done online.

In-Person Submission (Still Life Only): August 1-16

  • Submission can be done at the Fair Office, located at 901 E. 7th Ave. Monday-Friday, 8am-12pm and 1pm-5pm

LATE Entries: After August 16, 5:00 p.m.

  • Subject to a $3.00 late fee
  • May be made online August 17 - 19
  • May be made in Fair Office August 19-20 (Still Life Only)

How to Enter Still Life

Still life may enter online or by paper entry form.
  • If entering online, please follow the same steps** below under 'How to Enter Livestock'.
  • If entering by paper, please download and fill out the following forms or you can pick them up in the Fair office located at 901 E. 7th Ave. in Ellensburg:

How to Enter Livestock

IMPORTANT:
  • All livestock must enter online. No in-person or paper entries will be accepted.
  • All livestock required forms are listed below in the next section. Please have them ready to upload when entering online.
  • All online entries must be paid at time of submitting entry registration. Make sure to purchase your Exhibitor's Pass at the time of entry.
**Beginning August 1, proceed to the ONLINE ENTRY SYSTEM (SHOWORKS)
  • Once in the ShoWorks system, click on the button in the upper right to open your registration.
  • Begin registration by entering your first and last name as a new or returning (from 2016) exhibitor. Continue to next page.
  • Fill in all the required information fields, and confirm your information is correct. Continue to next page.
  • Proceed to entry choice menu, select one at a time.
  • Select Department (ex: Dept 2 – Draft Horses)
  • Select Division (ex: Div 02-A, Percheron)
  • Select Class (ex: Class 01 – Colt, under 1 yr)
  • Fill in all required information for each entry.
  • Additional information will be requested during the process. Refer to the Exhibitor’s Guide & Department List for specific rules and additional information.
  • When finished adding entries, continue. Review entries. Fees are automatically applied. Confirm that they are accurate.
  • You may add more entries from other Departments, Save This Cart to add more entries later, empty the cart if you want to go back and start over, or advance to Checkout.
  • Acceptance of Terms: All exhibitors must agree to abide by all terms, rules and regulations at checkout. Fill in YES and click Submit.
  • Please print and bring a copy of your online Entry Receipt Summary with your entries during their designated drop-off times listed at the beginning of each department. Your Exhibitor’s Pass voucher will be available at that time.

Livestock Forms and Paperwork

  • PLEASE FILL OUT THE REQUIRED FORMS BELOW.
  • CERTAIN ENTRIES REQUIRE ADDITIONAL WAIVERS AND PAPERWORK.
  • FORMS REQUIRE SIGNATURES.
  • ALL FORMS MUST BE RECEIVED ONLINE THROUGH SHOWORKS. PLEASE HAVE THEM SCANNED AND READY TO UPLOAD.
  • ALL FORMS MUST BE RECEIVED ONLINE PRIOR TO SHOWCASING YOUR ANIMAL AT THE FAIR.
  • Forms are NOT available through the online entry system. Bookmark this page or print the forms now.

HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT:

2024 K.C. Fair Exhibitor Hold Harmless Waiver is REQUIRED if you exhibit Livestock, Horse, or Small Animals.

  • When you enter online through ShoWorks, you AUTOMATICALLY ACKNOWLEDGE that you have read and understand the hold-harmless waiver when you pay and close.

ANIMAL HEALTH RECORDS:
The record must be COMPLETELY filled out. Any missing fields can cause the exhibitor to be ineligible to participate in the sale. Go to the following form for the specified species:

POULTRY PT TEST:
Poultry exhibitors are REQUIRED to submit a signed K.C. Fair Exhibitor Poultry PT Test form:

SECOND ANIMAL HAUL-IN SLIP:
If you are selling more than one animal, please DOWNLOAD THIS HAUL-IN SLIP to fill out your designated 2nd animal to be hauled. This form must be turned in to your superintendent.
